2004 Caldera Spas Aspire I2C communication Port Interface The communication port is the device that connects peripheral devices to the spa controller system. The audio can now be controlled through the spa. The port has 4 connection that can be used in any order. The port snaps in to the holes located on the right center section of the control box. The interface connector typically connects to the front portion of the interface board. Troubleshooting When a device looses its connection to the box it maybe necessary to do the following: Power down the spa Remove the interface board connection from the main board and restart the spa. If the spa functions as designed then the problem exist in one of the peripherals. Power down the spa. Remove all connections on the interface board and connect one device at a time power down between devices until the offending device is uncovered.
